LOVE Has No Borders....

Meet Josue who came to the US from Colombia in 2022 to flee from violence . One day, fate brought him and Judel together. Although they didn't speak the same language, there was an instant connection, their souls recognized each other. As the saying goes, "your soul knows when it meets its counterpart" and for them this couldn't be more true.

Their bond quickly grew into something deeper and in August 2023 they were married. Since then they have continued to build a beautiful life together. They love spending time with their dog Addie, watching movies, cooking together, playing video games, traveling and as anyone who knows them can attest, work hard. Some might even call them both workaholics!

A few weeks ago, Josue and Judel attended an immigration appointment expecting it to be another step in their ongoing process but instead Josue was unexpectedly arrested, detained and taken to a detention center where he now awaits a court date. This happened despite them diligently filing the proper paperwork for the past two years to prevent exactly this situation.

We know times are tough for everyone right now but any contribution whether it be big or small will help Judel and Josue cover legal fees, court costs and travel expenses as they face the difficult road ahead.
