Hi everyone, these are my parents jhenny and Jose. They have been living in the united states for almost 30 years. They are parents of four and grandparents of two.

Recently with everything happening due to the new president and his new policies they have declined to renew my dad’s work permit which has caused him struggles to find a job. With that already impacting our lives we found out they’re wanting to take them into court . They now face a long and difficult legal process that could end in the separation of our family. We want to fight for our parents to stay in the U.S. legally, but the costs of immigration lawyers and court fees are overwhelming. We are also, unfortunately, trying to prepare for the worse…deportation.

My parents are great and loving grandparents. They are hilarious when you get to know them. They work hard and love their family more than anything. We believe they deserve their chance to fix their status and continue building their life here with us.
