Keep Jamie's Heart & Business Beating

My name is Morgan Miller. I’m fundraising on behalf of my parents, Jamie and Shana Miller.

In May of 2025, my dad, Jamie, had an unexpected heart attack caused by 100% blockage of his left anterior descending (LAD) artery, commonly referred to as the widow maker heart attack. This event nearly cost him his life, and while we are tremendously grateful for his survival, he has a long way to go on his journey toward healing.

In the midst of medical debts piling up, my parents are also facing monthly payments for expensive but required medications to keep my dad alive. In addition to medical stressors, my family is facing the financial strain of owning a small business, Maple Valley Hardwoods. As the owner and lead contractor for MVH, my dad faces the daily stress of managing the business to keep it functioning well while also working on-site doing physically demanding work. Due to the strain of the heart attack, he is not able to return to work at full capacity yet.

The money gained through this fundraiser will allow my parents to pay for my dad’s medical debts, afford life-saving medications, and pay off business expenses in a way that relieves the stress and burden from their shoulders.
