Keep ITPA alive
Donation protected
With the current situation of COVID-19 around the world, the available funds for ITPA has been dwindling. We are looking for assistance to help ITPA keep running through the 2020 year. Our goal is $15,000 to be able to provide the same level of service currently afforded to our members.
ABOUT ITPA
Information Technology Professionals Association (ITPA) is a not-for-profit organisation established to advance the understanding of ICT matters within the community, corporate and government sectors in Australia.
Our members are professionals within the IT Industry in Australia and abroad who aim to advance the practice of Information Technology as a profession.
Our vision is for our members to deliver outcomes which enhance and enrich society through the understanding and application of technology in an increasingly online world.
Specifically, we aim to do this through several mechanisms:
- Advocacy on behalf of the ITPA and wider Australian community on matters concerning technology that we believe have a public interest - such as recent appearance in Canberra representing your views at the INSLM hearing into the TOLA (Assistance & Access) Bill 2018
- Providing services to our members to communicate and have their opinions heard as a collective group
- Providing guidance and advice to IT Professionals on the current state of the industry and the (always) changing landscape
- Providing opportunities for our membership base to contribute to an organisation that offers an alternative to other IT associations
So what is the money going towards?
- Infrastructure
- Insurance
- Subscriptions
- Legal / Statutory
- Admin assistance / help
- Marketing / Advertising
- Public submissions
This is (possibly the final) opportunity for members to "put their money where their mouth is" and contribute to the ongoing viability of ITPA as an organisation.
Thank you!
