I’m reaching out to share the story of an extraordinary young woman from Altadena, CA, who needs our help. A bright and driven freshman at Jackson State University, she has always been a source of pride for her family and her community. But recently, her life took a devastating turn.

Her family lost their home and everything they owned in an unforeseen tragedy. While they are now trying to piece their lives back together, she is facing the daunting possibility of having her education disrupted due to financial struggles.

Despite this heartbreak, she continues to embody resilience and determination. As an honor student, she has consistently excelled academically, never giving her parents a moment’s trouble. Her dream is to complete her education uninterrupted, but without help, she may not be able to afford tuition, books, housing, and other essential expenses.

This is where we come in. Together, we can provide the support she needs to maintain some sense of normalcy and focus on her education during this incredibly difficult time.
