Hello! My name is Jodie Campbell and I am a volunteer at the Greenstead Youth Club. An incredibly important mission for us at the moment is to garner support and aid to keep the Greenstead Youth Club open, which has been successful in creating a safe and creative space for local young people, helping build friendships, exploring different learning experiences and since January had been able to provide a free hot meal each week for each club-goer.

We want to be able to keep doing this and offer a wider range of opportunities in the future, however we first need financial aid to cover costs for the venue.

We are still a rather grassroots community organisation with a small (but mighty!) team running the club, and securing enough funding has been a challenge. But hopefully, with your help, we can keep this service available for our local community and continue to build a solid and sustainable youth group.

For quite a few of the kids it has become a vital part of their routine and somewhere they can feel included, confident and safe. At a point where the club has started to take off, it would be very sad to see it unable to go ahead. Wanting more for the children of our community is at the heart of what we do, and investing in young people’s well-being in any way we can is crucial.

We are aiming to raise £600. This amount would cover our club’s venue expenses and contribute towards activities for the children until the end of the school year July 2026. All donations big and small are greatly appreciated.
