Emergency Winter Relief After House Fire – Family With Two Toddlers Needs Immediate Help!

Our neighbors lost everything when their home burned down over the weekend, while they were trying to stay warm. They are a young family who recently moved to Alaska from Florida for work that unfortunately did not pan out, leaving them without income for the past three weeks.

Immediate needs include:

Hygiene items

Winter clothing and coats: boys’ sizes 18 months and 3T; women’s medium–large tops, 9/10 pants large/medium leggings, size 8½ shoes; men’s XL tops, 38x32 or 38x34 pants, and size 11½ (wide) shoes.

Diapers (size 5 and size 7)

Food and baby essentials

Dog food, dog treats, dog bowl, leashes/collars

Chicken feed

Blankets, coats, boots, warm layers

Funds for emergency lodging and deposits

They are new to Alaska and have no family here — just the hope that community kindness can help them survive this unimaginable moment and begin to rebuild.
