My name is Kas I am a domestic violence survivor and my abuser is the biological father of DJ. We are fundraising for our son to be adopted by myself and his step father. Two years ago, my son and I made an escape, and court costs for a protection order, divorce, and custody have made it very difficult to financially stay a float. My abuser has stated to the court he will voluntarily terminate his rights and give them to my husband. Unfortunately this still comes at a cost on my end. We need help paying for attorney fees, filing fees, home study, and adoption fees. We are looking at paying $5,000 by the end. My abuser raped me to the point I can no longer have children, he beat me breaking multiple bones, and he would regularly endanger DJ. I want to keep DJ safe from him and having these rights terminated is the best way to do that.
