Keep children at their home

What if someone told you that the fate of your children’s futures rested on how much money you could accumulate in a certain amount of time? When you don’t have legal resources and financial backing, our family court system can overlook you very quickly.

Meet Shontay and her three beautiful sons. This mother has faced and overcome many struggles. She is fighting the good fight to keep her 3 children living in the community they know as home, in the school that has provided them sanctuary, unity, as well as endless academic and extracurricular opportunities. Their grandmother, Kathy gets to be a part of their daily life and care while helping Shontay raise them. All of their meaningful and influential relationships are available to them in this location. It is all now in jeopardy as they are being court ordered to reside many states away with the estranged side of their family. Imagine how scary this is.

These 3 children have begged me to help their mother provide the court with the costs expected of her to fight for custody and secure legal counsel that gives her a fair chance to bring them HOME. To know them is to love them and I can’t let them go without knowing I did my best.

Shontay is working full time and doing everything she can be expected to do, but time is of the essence and a head start in finances will be the difference. All proceeds will be used for the battle to preserve the innocence and youth of these precious children that want to rest their heads at night knowing they are able to stay in the place they call, “home” with the ones they call, “family”.
