Keep The Stars SHINING BRIGHT in Chester Village!

It's almost that time of year for the stars to come out- and we need your help!!

We are looking forward to the 2023 winter season and the third iteration of the Chester Stars Spectacular- but we need your help to make it happen!

This beloved Village-wide art installation requires a professional installer to hang the starts properly, so we are raising funds to offset the cost of that service.

As a community-funded project, both locals and visitors have the opportunity to demonstrate their love of this wonderful, annual event!

Take a moment to remember the first time you saw the stars and how they made you feel- that is the reason we want to keep it going! We want everyone who visits Chester in the dark winter months to feel that way too!

About the Chester stars:

Collaborating with Merchants of Chester in December 2020 to bring joy, beauty, and light during the long nights of the winter months, (in the middle of the pandemic!), the Chester Stars by local artist Christopher Owens, quickly sparked from a mural of sponsored stars purchased named for loved ones, into a super-nova that grew to be much, much more!!

Now in their third season, the Chester Stars will continue to delight on-lookers as a star-burst of over 150 glowing sculptures illuminated a wave of twinkling light along Main Street.

The 2022 season saw the addition of the Wish Booth, a permanent installation on Main Street, where you can deliver your wishes and dreams to the universe! (Wish Booth will re-open the first week of October 2023)

This season’s Starry Night’s Illumination Celebration will take place on the First Friday of December 2023,

(the 1st), at 5:45pm in Chester Village!

The stars will glow nightly from sunset -9pm, from Dec 2nd, 2023 through February 14th, 2024.

This lovely scene is not to be missed and is best enjoyed after a bit of shopping and a lovely dinner!
