Donations Needed for Lawyer Fees

We need your help to cover attorney fees to continue our mission to halt 5G towers in residential neighborhoods.

“No Cell Outs” is a group of San Mateo residents that favors good cellular service but opposes locating cell tower installations in residential zones. Small cell facilities have been approved for installation throughout our neighborhoods and next to schools, with no concern regarding close proximity to bedrooms and classrooms.

The facilities approved are not for cell phone coverage (texting and calls), but rather for broadband data. Residents already have cable safely laid into our homes for high-capacity entertainment services, and do not need this service provided through towers.

As residents, we are asking city officials to update the wireless ordinance to protect our homes, residential neighborhoods, and schools from small cell facility installations. Given the abundance of peer-reviewed, independent research that has documented negative health effects from RF exposure, including cancer, migraines, depression, and sleep and memory disturbances, we need the City to commit to making changes.

This group is also advocating to have our homes and neighborhoods protected from: the visual blight of cell tower proliferation, the unpleasant, incessant noise of cell tower antennas and battery cooling fans, the increased danger from the fall zone and fires, the negative impacts on our view, the corresponding property devaluation, and the overall aesthetic degradation of our neighborhoods ultimately destroying the beauty and charm of our City.

Our group has been working for several months to convince our City officials of the urgency of making changes to ordinance and revoke the most egregious of the 200+ approved applications, but now we need to hire strong lawyers to help us make our case.

We have hired expert telecom attorney Ariel Strauss to address our need for a change in San Mateo's wireless ordinance. Mr. Strauss is considered by many to be the best, most experienced telecom attorney in California.
