I’m friends with Angelo and his fiance, CA, and I’m helping organize this fundraiser to support her urgent fight against deportation. CA has spent 25 years building a life here, raising five children, including two daughters proudly serving in the U.S. military. This campaign is to help keep her family together and ensure her youngest sons can stay in their schools and community.
CA came to the United States at 16 years old, escaping poverty, violence, and domestic abuse in her home. She arrived with nothing but hope, courage, and the dream of building a better life.
Over the past 25 years, she has worked tirelessly, paid taxes, obeyed the law, and raised five children, primarily on her own for the past five years. She has had an ITIN number for 24 years and she just received an ITIN extension until 2029. CA received her first Social Security number in October 2024 while applying for her Green Card.
Unfortunately, previous lawyers misled CA and required her to spend her entire life savings and
sell her only serious asset—her car—at a huge loss, in an attempt to fix her legal status. Despite these sacrifices, her Green Card application was still denied. After that denial, they also took away and revoked her Social Security number and her ITIN number.
CA’s Family Achievements
• Two daughters in the U.S. military, with one actively deployed in the Navy.
• Eldest son is the first in the family to attend college.
• Two youngest sons are in high school — if CA is deported, the sons would have the choice of either living with their father and/or their older sister. The minor boys will have to leave the Fairfield school system, which will downgrade their educational opportunities, as they will be moved to either Bridgeport (father) or Middletown (sister).
CA’s life in the U.S. has been one of sacrifice and perseverance. Despite her clean record,
decades of contributions, and strong family ties, she now faces deportation.
“I just want to make sure my children don’t ever have to struggle like I did. My only wish is to
continue contributing to this country alongside my children — the country of opportunities.”
Why We’re Raising Funds
CA urgently needs skilled legal representation to fight her deportation and protect her family.
With her children serving and planning to serve in the U.S. military, she has strong grounds for
relief, including Parole in Place and other humanitarian protections, but time is critical.
How Your Support Helps
• Pay for experienced immigration attorneys specializing in deportation defense
• Gather and file crucial documentation for her case, military family ties, and community contributions
• Keep a family together, honoring decades of hard work and sacrifice
Every donation, no matter how small, brings CA one step closer to staying with her children and
ensures her youngest two kids can remain in their home and complete school safely.
Please help CA stay in the U.S., the country she has called home for 25 years, and the country
where her children serve, work, and thrive.
