Keep Carmha's Doors Open

We are running this fundraiser to try raise funds to keep Carmha's doors open. With a lack of any statutory or government funding, Carmha is in crisis and the reality we now face is that, we may be forced to close our doors within two months.

Our only option at this point is to appeal to the community to dig deep and keep the organisation afloat until the opportunity to apply for and hopefully secure statutory funding becomes available in Spring 2022.

Carmha offers free support services to people struggling with both mental health and addiction issues and is saving lives every day through helping people get into recovery and/or deal with the traumas in their lives that have brought them to their current situation. This time of year is especially hard for everyone, but especially those who are struggling to deal with trauma and struggling to cope.

Without Carmha's services being available, many of the people we see will find it difficult to survive and the unfortunate reality is that the result will be a rise in relapses and even deaths. These people rely on the support and connection they find in Carmha. A safe and supportive environment is vital to those who use our services, especially at this time of year.
