Our Fight for Camp Becca Dog Boarding!

Hello compassionate friends and fellow dog enthusiasts,

We need your solidarity and support to break down barriers that are preventing us from enjoying the companionship of your four-legged friends in my home. Our town's regulations currently restrict dogs from sleeping over at my house But I believe that with your help, we can make a lasting change.

You know the joy of having your beloved dog sleep-over at my home, knowing they are safe and cherished. Unfortunately, the health department thinks it is wrong. I'm worrie about the high costs associated with legal advocacy putting a strain on our resources. I have hired a dedicated lawyer who charges $450 per hour. This legal battle involves making structural changes to my home or, in the worst case, purchasing a facility where dogs can stay comfortably, although I cannot fathom how it can be a home environment in a facility when no one lives there.

But that's not all. We're facing a new challenge. The Health Department recently raised concerns about our boarding services and the presence of dogs in our homes. We've attached their letter for you to see. We want to assure you that our "velcro dogs" enjoy full run of our homes and are never confined to crates or kennels unless provided by owners.

We remain committed to our Camp Becca community where responsible pet owners can enjoy the company of their furry companions. Your contributions help cover legal fees, potential home modifications, and even the option of a dedicated facility.
