Hi, my name is Amelia, and I’m fundraising on behalf of Bread of Life Foursquare Church in Los Angeles, California.
We’re a nonprofit that’s been serving the Mid-City and greater LA area for over 30 years—not just as a place of worship, but as a lifeline to thousands of families in need.
Every month, we provide free groceries, hot meals, toiletries, diapers, and more to 4,000–5,000 people. We partner with the LA Regional Food Bank and major stores like Trader Joe’s, Ralphs, Whole Foods, and others—distributing over 1 million pounds of food each year.
Here’s where we need your help:
While the food is donated, the cost of operations is not. We’re raising funds to cover:
- Van maintenance and fuel for daily food pickups
- Equipment repairs (like refrigeration and shelving)
- Utilities, trash service, insurance, and more
- Payment of our dedicated workers and drivers, who help pick up, unload, store, and distribute food daily
- Rent for our church buildings and property, where food is received, stored, and distributed
These are the behind-the-scenes needs that keep our doors open and allow us to serve thousands each week with dignity and love.
