Balinda Olive-Beltran is a cancer survivor, poet, motivational speaker, podcast host, and founder of a nonprofit that transforms the lives of women affected by domestic violence, trauma, and mental health challenges. She has dedicated her life to serving others—giving voice, giving hope, and giving back.
For over two decades, Balinda has been committed to Donate Life, raising awareness about organ donation, particularly in the African American community, and honoring the legacy of her brother Bobby Olive, Oregon’s first heart transplant donor.
For years, Balinda has been quietly working underground, using her own time, energy, and money to cook and deliver food, baked goods, and other essentials to women, men, and children who need it most. She has seen families struggle, kids go hungry, and communities in need—and she refuses to look away.
Now, she is ready to broaden her impact. Her dream is to create a community space where she can provide food, clothing, and other essential resources to families who may not be able to afford them, reaching more people and communities than ever before.
Impact Examples:
Last month, Balinda delivered 50 meals to families in need.
Every week, she provides essential food and baked goods to 20 families.
With your support, she can reach hundreds more families and begin setting up a permanent community space.
This is not about being a hero. It’s about continuing to show up for people who need care, support, and hope.
How Your Donation Helps:
Food, baked goods, and essential supplies for families in need
Clothing and basic necessities for women, men, and children
Transportation and operational costs for ongoing outreach
Initial setup for a small community space to expand services
We’re asking for your help to make this possible. Our goal is $25,000, enough to sustain ongoing outreach and take the first steps toward a permanent space. Every donation counts, whether it’s $10, $20, or more. Sharing this campaign helps us reach even more people who can step in and support this work.
Together, we can feed families. We can protect kids. We can remind people they are not alone.
This is love in action. This is community. This is refusing to look away.
