Help us Keep Annette and Pierrot Together

Hello,

My name is Niyah and I am Annette's eldest niece. You may not have met me or my Aunt, but I am here today to advocate for her.

Not many people know my Titi because she is often not the person in front when it comes to things being done. However, she is always in the back cheering on. My Aunt (we call her Titi in Spanish) is a very hard working, soft spoken, and kind individual. She's passionate about animals, nature, her love for Christ, and enjoying the water as it brings her comfort. My Titi Annette is one of the most giving and loving people I know. When I was a little girl, not many know this, but when my Mom passed she had stepped up to the plate to take care of us the best way she could with my Grandma (who sadly is no longer with us). My Titi sacrificed a lot of what should had been the part of her life adventuring and exploring the world, but she didn't. Why? Because... Well, the truth is, she loved us too much.

My Titi was my late grandmother's primary care taker until her last breath and is still my Grandpa's until this very day. She still gets up to go to work everyday no matter how hard it is. No matter how tired she is. No matter how sick she has been. Additionally, she took care of all her siblings children while they were growing up. She treated all of us with kindness and understanding, teaching us valuable lessons, and perspective . Ones unfortunately, my late Mom, Mary, couldn't teach us.

My Titi Annette was the first to teach me how to tame my curly hair. To put on make up and walk around like a raccoon because I didn't apply it right. The first to spill my heart to when it broke, and the first to teach me to find the beauty within myself first. During my pre-teen/ teen years, my Titi shared with me her dream of one day starting a family of her own. How she was praying that God sent her that special someone in her life; Finding someone to love and cherish her and see her.

Then, one day in 2014 she finally found someone who understood and loved her. That man is known today is my Uncle Pierrot. Their love story began when they used to play a common online game together. Eventually they spoke, they met, and eventually she spent some time away with my Uncle in Canada. A few years later, he then came back to the states with her (through the legal process) so she could continue to be with him, my Grandparents, and baby sister, Nicole. In total, they have been together for almost 10 years. However, with the current struggles with immigration, they have asked that my Uncle be returned to Canada. In the last year, my Titi has grieved with the loss of my Grandma, Angie, and now after all the hard work to be with the love of her life, that too is being taken from her. Leaving her with no one to lean on.

We are asking for your assistance with helping keep my Uncle Pierrot home. Your contribution would help us in securing a legal attorney that specializes in fighting for his status. My Uncle came here legally into the United States from Canada and has been a good and hardworking citizen. He loves rock and roll, helped raise my baby sister with my Aunt, and supported my Titi through the hard loss of my Grandmother.

Please help me share their story. Help us fight the system that is taking her husband away. My Titi is already very weary to ask for help. Help me in showing her that she isn't alone. That he prayers are in the works of being answered. That she has people here that love her and is not alone. That this too will pass. My Titi would be forever grateful for any support during this time. Any amount helps make this financial and emotional journey so much easier for her.

Her wages are currently below even a livable wage. She has continued since my Grandma's passing to try and make ends meet anyway she can and my Uncle has as well until he couldn't anymore either. They aren't asking for very much, but just want to go back to the little quiet life they had before. Gardening, watching the ocean, caring for my Grandpa, my sister Nicole, and spending time with their fur baby, Sadie.

In the meantime, we will continue to include updates regarding the progress of this situation as they are now requiring that he appears in immigration court this next week. They have paid a lot of money thus far to be legally compliant and need someone who can legally advocate for them. If you cannot donate, but have efficient resources that can help, please leave or send a message with this info to me.

In the meantime, my Titi would like to thank in advance for all the love, support, and heart felt prayers during her time of need. She keeps you in her prayers as well and asks that God blesses each and every one of you abundantly.
