Keep a Family Together: Custody Battle Aid

I have 6 children who are my world, and some have spoken and said they want to live with me. I’m in the middle of a child custody determination, and we need help with lawyer fees. I wanted a simple mediation to get 50/50 custody, but the other party does not want that, so I’m having to obtain lawyer fees to make sure our children and myself get the custody we want. It’s been going on for the last 8 months, and I’m struggling with life’s finances because I’ve been putting the lawyer fees first. I’m facing rental eviction and losing my vehicle. It’s very important that I’m able to have a good working vehicle and a place to live for me and the kids so that I can get 50/50 custody. I’m hoping the kids will be with me 7 days and their mother 7 days on and off because I understand how important it is for our kids to have us both in their lives. I currently have not seen or talked to our kids in over 4 months. As you know me, I’ve always been a good father, but I’m losing the custody battle because I went 3 months without a lawyer. If I can hit this GoFundMe goal, it will give me some breathing room to fulfill my work obligations. The stress I’ve been under the last 8 months has made it really difficult to concentrate on my work. I’m OK, and I will get through this. Once financially caught up and I start seeing my kids, I will be self-reliant again. I would also be willing to pay back any donations over time to all those who help. I do not expect a handout, but this is time-sensitive, and I’m doing this for my kids. They need both parents…❤️
