Keaton Day (family fun day in memory of Keaton)

On The 14th on June 2024. My youngest brother Keaton Slater was taken from us in the worst circumstances. He was hit by a car travelling 80mph in a 30mph zone. No one has been charged yet. We still have no justice. We believe the driver of the car Dolars Alexander’s left the UK the same night of the incident.

As we approach a year since loosing Keaton. We want to put a massive event on for the families in Coventry. All in the name of Keaton.

I was already going through a hard time before loosing Keaton, after it happened I spiralled and went off the rails. Drinking way too much and just generally not functioning. I was just focused on catching the driver and getting revenge.

BUT … I just could not carry on living that life. So I decided to pursue a white collar boxing match to get my head back in the game and raise money to put towards Keatons day…. Which will be a family fun day with a football tournament and activities for all ages. I don’t want to give it all away all the details just yet ! But it’s going to be massive. It’s all about getting people out and having fun and making memories and keeping my brothers memory alive.

Anyone who knows me will know how much this has took for me to go out and do this. But im enjoying every minute and it’s changing my life for the better.

I live week to week generally and don’t have lots of money, so that’s why I’m doing this and this is my way of putting as much I can towards the event. Anything I raise will go towards the fun day.

I started training for this fight back in January and happy to announce that I am fighting on April the 5th on the Godiva battle grounds card in Coventry.

I am looking for for people and local businesses to sponsor me. I am raising money to put a fun day on for the kids of Coventry. The date will be the 14th of June. A year to the day that Keaton was sadly taken from us.
