Our funding focus is shifting towards supporting the Purcell family. My employee, Nathan, his wife and 5 children are currently displaced after Helene caused severe damage to their home next to the Doe River. This money will go directly to their family. Nathan is a cherished member of the Hoffman Blacksmithing work family. If you have a Hoffman axe made in the last 5 years then it made in part by Nathan’s hands. Any donation amount is appreciated.

This is a disaster relief fund for my employees and their families at Hoffman Blacksmithing.

On Friday morning, 9/27, 5 feet of water swept through the town of Roan Mountain from Hurricane Helene, affecting our shop and several of my employees' homes, displacing them and putting them out of work for the foreseeable future.

This money will go directly to those employees to keep them financially secure as they rebuild. Anything you can donate is very appreciated.
