Ben Maier Eagle Scout Project - Library Tables

Thank you for taking the time to visit my GoFundMe Page! My name is Ben Maier and I am a Life Scout with Troop 444 in Concord, California.  It is with pleasure to announce that I will be supporting the Ygnacio Valley Library with my Eagle Project.  The public library system is an organization very important to me and close to my heart.  As a small child, I would frequently check out books and DVDs and throughout my high school years, I was a teen volunteer assisting with summer reading programs and other library activities.

For my Eagle Project, I will be building two hexagonal picnic tables for the outdoor patio area. The library is frequented by many students after school and on weekends.  These benches will provide a space for students and patrons to gather, do homework, and socialize.  Money raised through GoFundMe will go directly to the purchase of the materials needed to build these tables.  Any excess funds will be donated to the Friends of the Ygnacio Valley Library.
