Hi, my name is Maisie. Recently i have been offered the chance to go to Borneo, Malaysia to work on community projects and try and improve the residents quality of life. Camps international, who have been taking trips since 2002 have put me in a position where i feel like i want to help. Whilst in Borneo, i would spend 4 weeks there with a few of my peers and people from other schools and finally people who may not have the best life. With this opportunity i will travel half way across the world to spend four weeks doing community projects and trekking through one of the world's oldest jungles studying how to prevent illegal logging, palm oil plantations and deforestation. The community projects i may take place in is building hospitals, schools and trying to imply water systems. However with this great experience comes a big cost. Overall i will be required to pay £5130 which will cover travel, health insurance, food and supply's. I would be incredibly grateful if anyone could add a donation no matter how small or big it will be highly appreciated.
