Aid for Angel's Family in Tough Times

Hi, my name is Eric, and I'm sharing the heartbreaking story of my friend, Angel.

On June 9th, Angel's dad, Antonio Valdez, was detained in an ICE raid while simply biking to Home Depot, hoping to find work. He was arrested without a warrant and despite having no criminal record.

Antonio is the head of their household, and his sudden absence has left Angel and his family struggling immensely.

Since his dad was taken, Angel has been heartbroken and desperate. His family is now facing immense financial hardship and overwhelming fear.

While Angel's mom is working hard selling pupusas every Saturday to bring in some income, it's simply not enough to cover their mounting expenses. They are especially in urgent need of rent money by the end of the month to avoid losing their home. Beyond rent, they are also struggling to cover daily necessities like food, utilities, and other essential living expenses.

They are even afraid to leave their home, fearing that ICE will return. (More info about their pupusa efforts coming soon!)
