Without getting into too much detail, the kids and I have lost our home and are living off of $60 a week. We are staying with family and are on a waitlist for an income-based apartment, which could take anywhere up to a year to get in to. I am disabled and am trying to get SSDI, along with EBT and Medicaid. All of my belongings were destroyed and all of the kids belongings are in a storage unit. Our pets are still at the house and will be put with fosters soon. Reaching out for help isn't easy, I wouldn't do it if I had any other choice. Just trying to make ends meet until I get my life together again, which I will, I always do. Thank you for any help.
