Helping a family in need

Just a quick edit to say I’ve increased the target amount as everyone has been unbelievably generous. Thankyou so much to my amazing Twitter family. Myself and other parents from my children’s school have been helping a family who have joined us from Nigeria. There’s mum, dad and two boys aged 6 and 3. We have been helping with items for their empty flat. They had absolutely nothing bar some cupboards and a cooker to begin with. People from Twitter have been offering help so I’ve set this up to collect any money people can spare. The intention is to pay for their tv licence as I’ve given them a TV and get them a food shop and including some familiar foods from home. Any spare I’ll put into vouchers from shops they can easily access. Thankyou to everyone for their kindness especially at a time when I know people are struggling themselves. Also I’ve been asked by GoFundMe to make it clear how this works- I will be withdrawing the money and converting to vouchers or buying things directly. I will keep photos of vouchers and all receipts - Thankyou everyone!
