One of my very good friends, Kristen Hamley, needs help! Her daughter is currently in the hospital with an infection, high fevers, low blood pressure, and many other life threatening issues. This is one of MANY hospital stays she has had.

Breawna was diagnosed with a gene mutation of IRF2BPL in 2019 after years of her sweet Mama taking her to doctors for testing to see why she was having regression with certain things like walking, speech, etc. Breawna's Diagnosis is a rare neurodegenerative disorder that has not been discovered long. There is no name or treatment options at this time. It is gene mutation of IRF2BPL! Children with a mutation on IRF2BPL gene are born healthy. But as early as 6 months old, they begin to display progressive, severe neurodevelopmental regression. They commonly suffer from loss of ability to control their muscles and often develop seizures. In most severe cases, the children become unable to walk, stand, sit, hold their head up,speak, and swallow, and are bound to a wheelchair, feeding tube, and oxygen tank. They can also develop vision impairment. Average onset syptoms occur in children from the age of 5 to 7 and by 10 they are wheelchair bound. Breawna started having syptoms of losing skills at age 6. It only progresses instead of getting better. It is almost like a 1 in a million chance that she got this. The UDN and NIH are trying to fund research on decoding the gene and learning it's function on the body.

Kristen is a single Mom and has always been on her own. She has solely provided for her and her sweet girls and NEVER asks for help or complains. She is the best Mom and person and could really use some help.

First of all-PRAY! Pray for healing for her 15 year old daughter Breawna. Pray for peace, comfort, and strength for Kristen. She also has another daughter, Lydia who is 12, and has been through all of this too and been the sweetest sister to Bree. This family has had such a hard time and could use all of your prayers.

In the middle of running back and forth to the hospital for Breawna and taking Lydia back and forth to school-Kristen's van broke down. She really needs a new van..not to mention the expenses from multiple hospital stays, food, etc.

So I'm asking PLEASE for any amount of donation that you can send-we would so appreciate it!! This is the sweetest Mama in the world and she would never ask for herself so I'm going to-PLEASE help her. ❤️❤️❤️
