Our great friend Ricky has been detained by immigration authorities and sent to the remote Alligator Alcatraz detention center after a simple paperwork issue with his 10‑year green card. He has lived in the United States legally for over 20 years, built a life here, and is a loving husband to Melissa, devoted father of three Mason, Luca and Lily, and a loyal friend to everyone who knows him.

This crisis began because his green card renewal notice was mailed to an old address, and he never received it. What should have been a routine renewal has turned into a nightmare for his family. His three kids are frightened and confused, and Melissa, a full‑time nurse who has spent her career caring for others, is now struggling to hold everything together at home and at work while worrying about her husband’s safety.

He pays his taxes, follows the law, and has always believed in the promise of this country. He has done everything right and now he needs help from all of us.
