Youth Travel Support for The Light Between Conference
Donation protected
In August of 2025, the North American Youth Section is hosting a conference for young people called The Light Between: Questions, Craft, Community at Hawthorne Valley in New York. This aim of this conference is to bring inspired young people together in celebration and practice of ideas that seek to connect us to our deeper selves, to others, and to sense of belonging in greater community. One of the main intentions around this gathering is to create a container for participants to connect to their future collaborators, and create bridges between one another in a world that so often seems to divide and separate us.
Inspired by talks given by Orland Bishop, the conference will offer a series of workshops involving art and craft, music, biodynamic farming practices, biography work, and much more led by expert contributors such as Laura Summer, Linda Berg, Bart Eddy, and other powerful leaders in their respective fields.

We are seeking to raise funds to be able to support young people in traveling to and attending this conference. The experience of many people, young and old, who have attended similar conferences in the past, is that these gatherings serve as a powerful way to connect to ideas around Anthroposophy, and do so in community that is supportive, critical, and celebratory. We hope that financial barriers of getting to and attending this conference can be offset by grassroots fundraising of the greater community of people who share this vision of empowering the next generation of change-makers, initiative leaders, artists, farmers, teachers, and creatives of all kinds.
Any amount is extremely appreciated, and will help bring a young person to this powerful event.
