Hi, everyone. My name is Markelle, and I’m writing this on behalf of my incredible daughter, Kayla. She’s one of the most hardworking, funny, and kind-hearted people I know, but right now, she’s going through a really tough time and needs some extra support.

Kayla is a 32-year-old single mom of three amazing kids who are her entire world. She’s doing everything she can to make ends meet—working hard every day to provide for her family. But as a single mom with a minimum wage job and no support from her ex-husband, it’s been a constant struggle to stay afloat. She has had a rollercoaster of a year after getting out of a toxic relationship and doing her best to keep up with rent and bills on her own. Throughout this entire tumultuous year, she has been so strong for her children and herself. Recently, her sweet kitty cat Kylo, who is like family to her and the kids, got sick, which has added unexpected medical bills and so much stress to an already overwhelming situation.

The stress of trying to keep up with rent, bills, groceries and Kylo’s around-the-clock care is taking a toll on Kayla’s mental health. She’s the type of person who always puts others first, but right now, she needs a helping hand. Her kids are her world, and she’s determined to give them (and Kylo) the stable, loving home they deserve. She’s not looking for a handout—just temporary support to get back on her feet and keep her head above water.

Kayla is one of those rare people who can brighten a room with her humor and warmth. She’s silly, kind, and gets along with just about everyone she meets. She works so hard and never complains, but the truth is, she can’t do this alone.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Every dollar raised will go directly to covering rent, paying medical bills for Kylo, groceries, etc., and helping Kayla and her kids through this difficult time. Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation or sharing her story—will make a huge difference.
