Kaya's trust fund

First of all hello and thank you for clicking the link that brought you here.

My name is Michael Witzell and my story is about my dear friend Kelly King and her daughter Kaya.

I met Kelly years and years ago through a mutal friend, who later became Kaya's father.

She was the closest most dear friend I've ever had and offered me a level of acceptance I've never known. Things I was embarrassed to even talk about in my head, I could talk to her about and she always offered me acceptance and real advice from her heart.

The love she had for her daughter is unmatched as far as mothers I know goes. Kaya was kelly's world and I was lucky enough to be the one Kelly would message about her ideas for outfits, Halloween costumes birthday party's, you name it. When it came to anything Kaya related Kelly was an unstoppable force at making sure she got the best and nothing less.

This past year however, Kelly found herself battling an addiction to drugs and reached out to me for help. I was honest with her as she has always been with me, and we made a plan. Kelly was clean for almost an entire month before she relapsed and sadly lost her life in the mix.

Kaya is now in the care of her father full time, and while I don't even know how to begin to try and fill the hole left behind in my own life, let alone her daughters. I hope that as a community of friends, family and anyone who has ever battled depression or addiction , we can make a difference in her life.

By donating to this go fund me you will be a part of a community that shows Kaya just how loved her mother was and will always be. We will be using this to pave the way towards a brighter future for Kaya. The money will go to her Father, to help him with anything he needs, and to set up an education fund for Kaya.
