Katy Frausto & Family

Donation protected
Katy was born on March 30, 1980 to Lupe and Ramiro Frausto. The youngest of the daughters, she took her place as the baby girl of the family. She was the apple of her mother’s eye who lit the world with her smile since birth.

Katy was a born leader, demonstrating her skills from an early age. Inspired by the movie, “The Karate Kid,” she established herself as the sensei of the Acacia Street Dojo. The neighborhood kids always followed her sense of fun and adventure.

In 2004, Katy met her soul mate, Minerva. Instinctively, they knew they were meant for each other and set out to build their lives together. Minerva was not the only love she would gain from the relationship, she immediately embraced five-year-old Matthew as her son. They would welcome three more children into their beautiful family: Naomi, Michael, and Veronica. Katy loved her family with all her heart and took pride in her role as provider. Jesus was very important in her life & she delighted going to Mass with her family on Sundays.

Katy was a trailblazer in the HVAC industry. She made a national impact, inspiring women by proving that women can achieve success in the male-dominated trade. She achieved recognition as the top 1% of HVAC technicians in the U.S. and continued to break record year after year.

Although she was called home way too soon, she made her years on earth count. She made countless memories with family, friends, and coworkers. She had an incredible sense of humor bringing joy to others through funny Instagram videos, jokes, and joyful pranks. She was an enthusiastic Dodgers fan, passionately supporting her team from Chavez Ravine to Petco Park.

Katy lived a life of service to others. She always answered the call for help, whether it was supporting others in their time of need or simply being a friend. This GoFundMe is an opportunity to echo her service to others. All funds will go to supporting her widow and three young children. We appreciate your generosity.
