Framingham Community Farm Fights Hunger!

Donation protected
Framingham Community Farm is a small all-volunteer food pantry garden fighting hunger in Metrowest Boston. Since 2017 the farm has been located at Edwards Church in Saxonville. This year we donated nearly 1200 pounds of produce to local food pantries. The work of fighting hunger connects volunteers, young and old, from varied faith organizations, schools and community groups, some who give many hours every year, and some who drop in to volunteer occasionally as their life allows.

  • Together we learn about food justice
  • We learn about compassion and activism
  • Together we share the joy of good work with good people for a good cause
  • We ease the burden of hunger among neighbors and friends
  • And together we advance the cause of food security.

Because of the commitment of volunteers and the support of local businesses who share our mission, the operating budget of Framingham Community Farm is small. But each year we need things like water and compost, twine, packaging, cover crop seeds - the simple things that allow us to produce an abundant harvest.

We welcome you to join us as a volunteer, and we offer this go-fund-me page for those who are able to make donations to support our work each year.

With gratitude -

Diane Bassett, Framingham Community Farm Manager
