Katrina & Hobie

Katrina and Hobie are a sweet couple that work in the ICU at Littleton Hospital. They recently welcomed their new born son Kylian on November 9th. Kylian means "little church" in Irish and "warrior" in Celtic, little did mom and dad know Kylian will live up to his name. As most first parents experience a new child there are normal fears, challenges, and excitement. However, Katrina and Hobie are having to learn a completely new set of challenges. Kylian was born a bit smaller than expected weighing in at 6lbs 13oz . Since then he has had challenges with gaining and maintaining weight. Two months later he is only 7lbs 7oz. Along with weight concerns he is facing a more serious fight. His skull has fused prematurely and he will be undergoing neurosurgery to hopefully repair this. He also has a potentially tethered cord and hip dysplasia. Kylian is having to go to multiple doctors appointments weekly, resulting in Katrina having to go PRN or completely quit her job for now. This family is going through some tough times and has a long road ahead of them. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
