We know these are difficult times for many people and the uncertainty of the future weighs heavy on all of us. But what this pandemic has also inspired is gratitude for what we have and to show kindness to those who are in need.
This Go-Fund-Me page has been set up by Katrina Benjamin’s colleagues and friends in the Crown Automotive Group platform.
Katrina Benjamin is currently a greeter at the BMW store in Greensboro, North Carolina and she has aspirations to become a service advisor one day. Katrina is a wonderful bundle of energy and has a smile that can light up a room. She works hard every minute she is clocked in, and she is an inspiration to all of her fellow team members.
Recently, Katrina has fallen on hard times and now, she and her 4-year-old daughter are in a situation where they find themselves homeless. Katrina and her daughter were living in a women’s shelter while Katrina worked hard to save a deposit for her own apartment. She managed to save enough money and moved into the apartment, but shortly after moving in, previous water damage turned into mold. This caused Katrina and her daughter to get ill. They moved out and lost their deposit for breaking their lease and are currently renting a room in a house.
While Katrina is working, her daughter is at a local pre-school, and the financial burden of trying to save and pay for childcare has made a difficult situation even worse.
We hope that people will find some love in their hearts to help our dear friend and colleague and give her the support she needs to find safe housing for her and her daughter.
We appreciate your kindness and love.
