Hi! My name is Katie and I am a student nurse. I want to wear myself out with love: love for my patients, love for God, and love for every person I meet. I believe that when we cross paths with people that look/act/think/live differently than we do that we should love them BOLDLY. These people will enrich our lives, strengthen our beliefs, and will need our love more than most. I am heading to Tanzania this summer to work with an amazing program called Gap Medics that provides healthcare students with the opportunity to shadow doctors and nurses in hospitals in the developing world and complete rotations in their specialities of interest. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will help shape me forever as a nurse. I am inviting you to join me in this adventure and help me become the best nurse I can be.
