As you all know, our friend and colleague, Katie O'Shea, is going to have a baby boy in December. Unfortunately due to an unforeseen issues with her benefits, she may not be able to draw a salary during her maternity leave.  

Katie is one of the best people I know. She is hard working, dedicated, and genuinely a kind person. She always has a positive attitude and supported many of us during our most stressful times. I am asking for your support to help Katie during this tough time in her life. The funds will be used to help supplement her salary while she is on maternity leave. 

Please know that Katie has no idea that I am doing this for her. Even in these circumstances, she never asked me or anyone else for anything. I am sure that Katie will be forever grateful for all your support.
