My sister Katie and her fiancé Xa their two boys were impacted by a fire due to lightning striking her apartment building. Our mother was in the bathroom 10-15 minutes before it got bad. They do have a hamster that was in the boys' room who did get a lot of smoke. We are watching him carefully. There is an abundance of water damage, smoke damage, as well as the damage from the fire. It was in the kids' bedroom, laundry room, and kids' bathroom. Their apartment is uninhabitable until further notice. A lot of the kids toys and clothes/ shoes were damaged.

They will be having to relocate until it is fixed or they find another alternative. Please donate anything you can to help with unforeseen spending and to help in any way they may need it. We are glad everyone is okay.
