Kathy Y. Wilson -- writer, journalist, teacher, bon vivant -- has been living with end-stage renal failure and congestive heart failure and has been unable to work in recent months. (Yes, THAT'S why you've been deprived of her writing lately.) She was denied state disabilty coverage and is now in the process of hiring an attorney who can challenge that decision and advocate on her behalf.
We intend to raise $7,000 ASAP to cover the lawyer's fees. Let's support Kathy and Kandice in their quest to follow doctor's orders. Our donations will help give Kathy rest, peace of mind and the opportunity to heal.
