Katherine's Parents Need Our Support
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Katherine and I'm trying to reach out with a humble heart to ask for your help. My parents came to this country 30 years ago with hopes of building a better life for themselves. They came from Honduras with different struggles but had hopes and dreams keeping them strong through it all. They eventually met and fell in love and started building a life together. They've worked endlessly, from cleaning houses and painting homes to even working weekends—anything to provide for my brother and me. They've purchased a home together and worked hard to give us anything we needed. But now, they're facing one of the biggest challenges of their lives: navigating the immigration system. Despite being here for years, working hard, paying taxes, and raising a family, their path to legal status is still uncertain. We've consulted with lawyers, and while there's a path forward, it comes with high legal fees that we can't afford all on our own. This is why I created this GoFundMe. I'm asking for your help to be able to cover the cost for an immigration attorney who can guide my parents through this complex process and fight for their right to stay in the only home they've known for so long. Any donations, small or big, will help to pay towards their legal expenses and any fees. My parents are the kind of people who give everything they have even when they have very little. Now I want to do everything I can to give back to them. Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and supporting us.
