This August, Katherine received the devastating diagnosis of Primary Mediastinal Large B-Lymphoma, a form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Her excellent care team at UPenn has implemented an aggressive treatment plan that they are confident will guarantee Katherine will make a full recovery.

Katherine will undergo four months of chemotherapy beginning September 11, requiring her to be inpatient for treatments 5 days a week with three weeks of recovery. Charlie and Teddy will not be allowed to visit their mommy during her treatments. This life-saving treatment will take a toll on her family, but as Johnson put it, "We're going into war with an awesome army."
