<div>This August, Katherine received the devastating diagnosis of Primary Mediastinal Large B-Lymphoma, a form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Her excellent care team at UPenn has implemented an aggressive treatment plan that they are confident will guarantee Katherine will make a full recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Katherine will undergo four months of chemotherapy beginning September 11, requiring her to be inpatient for treatments 5 days a week with three weeks of recovery. Charlie and Teddy will not be allowed to visit their mommy during her treatments. This life-saving treatment will take a toll on her family, but as Johnson put it, "We're going into war with an awesome army."

</div>
<div><strong>We kindly ask you to join Katherine's army.</strong> You can support Katherine, Johnson, Charlie, Teddy, and Penny with a monetary gift, gift cards, or meals. We have set a $10,000 fundraising goal to offset unreimbursed medical expenses and grocery costs over the next four months.

<div>If you prefer to support meal preparation directly, gift cards to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Aldi, or Costco will be greatly appreciated. You can also sign up for a dinner delivery through Meal Train. Updates on Katherine's journey and the impact of your gift will be made on the CaringBridge website.

<div>The next few months will be incredibly difficult for the Riggs Family, and they are humbled by the outpouring of love and support. Now is the time to mobilize our time and resources to support this family we love so deeply. Thank you in advance for your support.
