A Story of Redemption, Hope, and Deep Love

Hi friends! We’re Katherine and Luke Horton—a husband and wife with hearts full of love, a deep faith in Jesus, and a growing family through the beautiful gift of adoption.

This journey has been one of both challenge and grace. It’s been tender, personal, and holy—marked by grief, hope, waiting, and now, the most beautiful “yes.” Adoption, for us, has become a picture of redemption—a living reflection of the gospel: chosen, pursued, and deeply loved.

Though our path to parenthood hasn’t looked the way we imagined, God has written a story far more beautiful than anything we could have planned. We are in awe that we get to love this little one and cannot wait to welcome our baby into our arms and our hearts.

Why We’re Fundraising

Adoption is an incredibly meaningful and life-changing process—but it also comes with significant financial costs. From agency fees and legal expenses to travel and home study costs, the total often exceeds $60,000. Although we have saved for years, this number has been pretty hard to reach on our own. We’re stepping out in faith and trusting the Lord as our Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.

So many people have asked how they can walk alongside us—and we’re deeply thankful. First and foremost, we ask for your prayers:

We’re also brainstorming fundraising ideas. Katherine is a wedding and portrait photographer so a photo shoot day is in the works—stay tuned! We’d love to hear suggestions from those who’ve walked this road before us.
