Hello everyone,

It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of my beloved mother, Katerina, today, June 10th, 2025, after a courageous eight-month battle with terminal stomach cancer. She was a strong, independent, and free-spirited woman who had an immense love for life and for everyone around her. She found joy in painting, exploring nature on hikes, and caring for her cherished cats. Above all, she was a devoted mother to me and my sister, Xenia, providing us with unwavering love and support.

A little about me—I am an active-duty service member in the United States Army, working as an air traffic controller. I am currently stationed at Fort Novosel and have proudly served for the past two years.

In this incredibly difficult time, I am kindly reaching out for support to help with funeral expenses, the relocation of personal belongings, and therapy for my family as we navigate this loss. My goal is to raise $10,000, and any contribution—no matter how small—would mean the world to us.
