KAT Worker Appreciation Day
Donation protected
KAT Bus Drivers and other employees of the Knoxville Area Transit are playing a crucial role in keeping our community going during the COVID-19 pandemic. These essential workers are on the front lines of this crisis, providing much needed public transportation to our community.
To show them our gratitude and appreciation, we are pleased to announce KAT Worker Appreciation Day, scheduled for Friday, June 5th, 2020.
On that day, we will provide a free meal to KAT workers, courtesy of Yassin’s Falafel House , named “Nicest Place in America” by Reader’s Digest in 2018 for their generosity and commitment to giving back to our community.
We want to provide as many meals as possible, so please donate what you can to show your support for these workers on the front line. Thanks for your support!
Event sponsored by Cameron Brooks of Realty Executives Associates and Knoxville City Councilman Andrew Roberto .
