Kasons Blue & Yellow Day

Hello everyone, I am looking to do a blue&yellow day(minion colours) on Friday the 17th of October in honour of my 5 year old son Kason who sadly, unexpectedly passed away on the 17th of October 2024. It will be his one year anniversary and I would really like to make the day special for him to celebrate his life. It would also be special for my 7 year old son Jakob who misses his brother dearly. They weren’t just brothers but were best friends, the day I had to tell Jakob that he brother passed away was just as hard as losing my son. It’s been the worse year of our lives.
Kason was diagnosed with autism and was non verbal. He attended Mont a L’Abbe School and they done such a great job with him, his development and speech was coming along so nicely. He also attended the space at centre point in the holidays, the staff there were so good with him and they have been ever so supportive since Kason’s death.
I would be incredibly grateful if any businesses would consider supporting. Anything big or small would make a significant difference.
so in honour of his memory and to help others I would like to raise money for the following charities as they are all personal to me.
Mont a L’Abbe School
Centre Point Trust
Autism Jersey

This would mean so much to me, Jakob and my family. Kasons life, though short brought so much joy to everyone around him. He was a beautiful, loving soul who had his whole life ahead of him and deserved the world.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope I can raise as much awareness as I can for my Angel up in heaven.

On the day of the 17th of October myself, Jakob (Kason’s older brother), my family and close friends will be going to Le Mare Slip, St Clements beach to release some Blue and Yellow balloons and lay some flowers down at 2pm. This beach has a lot of meaning as Kason lived in St Clements his whole life. We will then be going up to his grave up at Surville Cemetery where he is buried to lay some flowers and tell him about his ‘Blue & Yellow Day’. After that we will be heading to the Shipwright Bar in St Helier, opposite peoples park to continue celebrating Kason’s life.

Please join us in celebrating Kason’s life by attending either of these or just by wearing Blue or Yellow on that day. If you do decide to wear Blue and Yellow and you don’t mind, could you please send me some pictures on Facebook, it will be nice to see those who have took part in celebrating my angel up in heaven.
Please share.
