Support for Kase – A Life Changed, A Community Rising Hi, my name is Tiffany Acuna, and I’m the mother of Kase—a bright, funny, and courageous five-year-old who was severely injured when a drunk driver hit our family head-on. On October 20, 2023, Kase suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury at the T3 level. It left him paralyzed from the chest down. He underwent emergency surgery where surgeons placed eight screws into his spine. Since then, Kase has faced a long, painful road to healing—with a strength that continues to inspire everyone around him. ⸻ Why We’re Raising Funds We are organizing this fundraiser to help cover the critical needs that Medicaid doesn’t cover, including: • Local housing near his school so Kase can attend with his siblings • Specialized medical equipment for comfort and mobility • Accessibility renovations and travel expenses for medical care • Recovery from lost income as I care for him full time • The launch of a foundation called Kase Matters, which will help other families like ours facing life-changing injuries ⸻ Join Us in Person – Family Fundraiser Event We’re bringing our community together to support Kase with an evening full of heart, music, games, and hope.
