Kasanka Community Mission Project – Bringing Hope to Serenje, Zambia

Dear friends,

I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for the beautiful people of Kasanka Community in Serenje, Zambia. This community is full of life, faith, and hope—but also heavy with struggles that no one should bear.

✨ The Challenge

Children here walk up to 15 miles every single day just to reach the nearest school. Many don’t make it. Too many girls are forced into child marriages, their bright futures cut short, simply because there is no school close enough to nurture their dreams.

Families must also travel 25 miles to reach the nearest clinic. This heartbreaking distance has led to countless preventable deaths—lives that could have been saved with timely care.

✨ The Vision

We believe this community deserves better. Together, we want to:

-Build a community school so every child has the chance to learn, grow, and dream.

-Establish a local clinic to save lives and bring healthcare closer to those who desperately need it.

-Plant a mission church to guide families toward healthier living, away from alcohol and tobacco, and toward meaningful work and a stronger relationship with God.

✨ The Hope

The community is not waiting helplessly—they are already working hard! Over 30,000 pan bricks have been moulded and kilned by the community’s own hands. Now, all we need are the building materials to complete this vision before the rains come in October, so the school can open for the January school term.
