My name is Kelaine and I am making a GoFundMe for my dad, Karl. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma with Neuroendocrine Cancer. He has been trying to get answers about his illness for months. After many ER visits, physician appointments, and visits to specialists - on Thursday, April 4th, they finally gave him the diagnosis. He just started his treatment on Saturday, April 6th. After almost 5 months of no answers. Because of these many visits and his health deteriorating - he had missed many months of work and will not be returning back to work. Unfortunately, the funds that were saved are running out. We as a family are trying to do what we can to help, but it is not enough. Especially when the ambulance, hospital, and other medical expenses arise.

My dad has always been an amazing man. He has gone above and beyond to help not only his family, but anyone who needs it. He worries more about us and others than he does himself. He had a near death experience in December 2021 and his biggest concern during his recovery was to heal and get back to work. It is his time to worry about himself and his treatment now.
