Hello friends and family.
Many of you know our story. You know that we have been trying to have a biological family for over 3 years. You know of our infertility treatments and the many disappointments.
You have been there for our tears and grief. Thank you for your prayers, giving financially, and those that gave words of encouragement and love. You have done so much more than just being there when we needed someone to sit with us and remind us we are going to be ok.
Thank you for the reminder that God heals the broken hearted.
We are so thankful for you and that God has put such wonderful people in our life to love and to be loved by.
God is so good.
Jeremy and I made the decision to pursue adoption as our way to have a family.
Our dream is to adopt 2 to 3 children. We feel God is calling us to this and we feel such joy knowing that we will become parents. Just the thought of holding a baby/babies in our arms brings a huge smile to our face. We have prayed over this. We feel peace with this descion and wait with excitement to meet our children.
We have completed all the goverment, caseworker and lawyer requirements that were needed to be eligible to adopt. We have been ok'ed to adopt in all 50 states! Now we pray and wait. We pray for our birthmothers that we will be matched with and for our future babies. We pray for wisdom and peace. We pray with urgency and boldness. We pray with trust in God's perfect timing.
We wait with a beautiful hope and dreams of the future.
We have been getting baby items ready, like a pack n' play, clothe diapers and a stroller. I even found the sweetest little Green Bay Packer jersey too ( you know how much Jeremy loves Green Bay! )
There is alot of excitment, hope and joy for the future.
So now we pray and wait. We share our story and pray it reaches the ears it is suppost to reach.
We pray our story and dream encourages others. We pray that others can see God's hand in it all, even the sorrow and hard times.
God is still good even though we have not become pregnant.
We have learned so much through these years and struggles. If we hadn't walked these steps we most certainly would not have grown in our dependency on Christ and His timing. We have learned to pray like never before. We have learned to lean on each other truly as husband and wife.
We now know we will appreciate the gift of a child/children so much more since we have been praying and waiting for so so long. We now understand just how huge the gift is of a baby. A gift that is priceless.
Please pray for us daily and give if you feel God is leading you to do so.
