Karims VITAL Initiative

Everyone’s talking about creating change once the world reopens. I've been compelled to begin NOW! Starting this week, I’ll be cooking healthy, family-friendly, plus budget-conscious meals posting them to my Instagram. And that's just the first part of my mission. To up the ante I’ll be bringing my fitness knowledge and skills to a park or community center near you for Free!!!          

As a licensed instructor, I’ll be bringing you STRONG Nation™and World Of Dance Ujam fitness. STRONG Nation™ combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move.

U-Jam is a dance fitness class using urban music where every class feels like a party. I liken it to Zumba but with hip-hop music rather than salsa or samba styles. 

I'll be fundraising for this initiative which I'm calling, "VITAL" . When it's safe for us to be together indoors my cooking demos will  become an in-person and FREE resource for those most susceptible to dying from Comorbidities . 

The program will help provide ingredients, tools, and in-person instruction. It will also provide equipment and gear such as yoga mats, gloves, and scholarships for membership fees to Blink and Planet Fitness. 100% of all donations will go toward this. 

My mission is to use my love for the community and my 20+ years of expertise as a private chef and personal fitness coach to provide the tools, skills, and motivation to build healthy habits that will positively affect one's immune system.

We've all seen the reports that black and brown and low income folks are disproportionately dying due to underlying conditions, including obesity. I know that I can help my family, friends, and neighbors improve the quality of their lives and overall health through my initiative.
